Would it be wrong for me to root for a division foe (look here Redskins fans)?

Now I feel like there's an unwritten rule about not rooting for division rivals, but when the Deadskins are your team, I may have to resort to that. This team is heading down the path of St. Louis and Detroit (no offense to fans of those teams). Everyone seems to be the problem. Snyder, Cerrato, Zorn and Campbell all have to take the blame. The Redskins only have two playoff wins since 2000. This franchise needs a fresh start. Would it be wrong for me to root for the Cowboys this season? I've always kind of liked Romo and Barber the beast, so it isn't really jumping on the bandwagon.
