WORKERS COMP-Company is looking for a way to not give workers comp.Please comment. Thanks....?

Got into a car accident while on the job with a company vehicle.(Not my fault). After accident, returned to work, told the Manager what happened and he sent me on my way to the hospital. I go to the hospital and get diagnosed with a neck sprain and back spasm. My Primary said I will be out of work for 7 days OR until better and when i go back, i should be on light duty. Two days later, my job called and told me I had no workers comp because I did not go to "their Doctor". They never told me I should, they just rushed me to go to A hospital. When I found that out I got an attorney because things did not sound right at all. After, I went to their doctor and all they asked was for a urine test( tried to catch me on drugs, so they wouldnt have to pay me). Test came back negative. Never even tried to see my back or neck. Then, they set up another appointment and when i went, they wanted to see my PC orders. (primary doc orders and regulations), but I figured they never followed my doctors orders, so why cant they do their own testing. I eventually showed them my doctors orders and they still went against them saying I can drive vehicles.(im a Porter). How can i if i am under 3 different medications? one being Lortab? Went back today, still sore and their doctor told me i am able to return back to work. He also said, no need for me to take the medication and prescribed me some sugar pills.(being sarcastic). But pills that were way weaker than Lortab and wouldnt even help my pain. Do I have a case? And also, Their doctor refered me to physical therapy. 6 visits. Has anyone else been thru the same? and is the settlement worth my while?
