Why are workers striking atm? like postman nd trains?

I could'nt agree more Darcy. Striking for more money in the middle of a recession when thousands are losing thei jobs every month seems very short sighted. Perhaps they should consider what happened to the british motor industry when the workers priced themselves so highly that their product was no longer competitive. The train driver who was quoted in the press as saying he did not earn enough to live on would get a nasty shock if he had to live on jsa.
