I've got my normal period after 2 mth of copper IUD insertion but before that i've spot for at least the 2 mth

Now that i've got my period will it be normal or i'll continue spotting.I was going to get it remove but i need your advice about what should i do give it some more time to and if i'm keeping it will i be always be spotting or its just in the beginning.Please give me a good advice.Thanks
